I swore up and down about sense love it so much then I got touch wiz after the gnex and I can't lie it's hard for me to keep an ASOP rom on my s3 because I miss some of the features I use so much that makes me love this phone

Love the new Sense 5.5. Not sure how I feel about the SIZE of this OneMax though. So flippin gargantuan it aint even funny

Sense hasn't been a battery hog for some time. I get up to 8 hours of screen on time with my 2012 HTC.
I have no complaints with my Rez. I hoped it hadn't gotten any worse. I'm pretty hooked on sense. I can't get excited about a phone without it.
Yes right? I keep trying AOSP, and then deal with missing features until I go back.
I'm beyond contract and looking... The One Max looked tempting. I don't know about the size. It looks a bit HUGE to me. Perhaps I should buy now before the phones get so big they require wheels and a pull out handle. It has to be sense.
Sense just keeps getting better and better imo.
And the size... That's a tough one. Still getting used to it. I have a power case thing which adds to the bulk. It does fit in pocket nicely though. Unless you're into those 'skinny' jeans the kids be wearing
That's pimpin, we weren't near so lucky with the Rezound. With Extended battery I was lucky to get 5 hours screen time. Of course that was 2011,so very long ago, lol

3100mah plus i have the power case (from HTC:HTC Power Flip Case Specs and Reviews | HTC Global) which adds an additional 1150mah battery in the case.
I easily get 48 hours on a full charge. Without the case I can get 40+
This is getting interesting. I think it's time I do some homework. I have some time... Xmas has taken a heavy toll on the limited olbriar assets. I'm kind of spoiled to an inductive charging back. I hope that's perhaps an option. Merry Christmas big guy. Thanks for the information.

i have been thinking about porting a version of sense on my nexus 7 that would be awesome if i could get it to work

Pain the ass even more sence (that I know of) is not all open source and I discovered that there is a device check hidden in the bowls of sence so I would have to spoof my nexus 7 to an HTC (not hard just time consuming) before I could even see if the port would work ... May try and port it to my old DINC see if i can get the port down before I go about spoofing my device

It might be easier just to buy a HTC lol.

easier yes but where is all the fun in easy ... if android was easy we would have everyone making roms and the environment would so much different lol

I have got a very very broken port (ish)
i think i am for the most part at the point where the apk. sees it there nut I am not much farther then that ... kinda stuck... the only thing I can think of if scene uses its own kernel ... I know that doesn't sound right to the problems I am having if the screen talking to the hardware ... HAHAHA think I should Email for a Nexus7 kernel so I can your sence on my tablet or viceversa email Google HAHAHA this may get fun

HTC threads lots of interesting things through their kernel, and it's not all open source software so you may not get source for every module.
Mix-matching Sense roms with AOSP kernels is known to not work on HTCs, would expect that to be true for other devices.

its the exact point I am at haha I tried everything I know from mixing and even decompiling every file I could but found nothing... I am dead in the water and this is going in i tried folder haha
