I am but not as diligently as I was to begin with. Congrats on the swag! Use/wear it proudly. Near as I can tell, you've likely more than earned it. :) To date, I've not even managed a thanks from the site. I did manage to miff most of my contacts off with my HTC related spam lol. It's still fun though... and some of the members are cool.

It is hard to balance promotion of product and spam. Hopefully you didn't actually chase anyone off! I've got a ton of Elevate people on Twitter now, and I only use Google plus for giveaway posts (for here as well)

Good people running elevate.

I didn't run anyone off lol. They were making fun of me being a HTC fanboy though. But hey, they knew that before I joined the Elevate team. It's been fun and interesting as well. I'm still grateful for the invite.

No argument. How goes it Musky? The world is treating me better than I deserve which in no way implies things are good. However, the weather has been decent for this time of year. I have pork shoulders on the smoker. Bought my first tab over Christmas. Read a few decent books. Work is steady and the whole famdamily is enjoying good health. Anything exciting going on in your half of the world?

Hey all. It's has been a while. I made a big leap this month. I bought a truck. It's awesome. :D

That's a beauty! I've been driving trucks for the last couple of decades. I love them... and my occupation pretty much dictates that sort of transportation. Your first truck? What sort of mileage are you getting? I replaced my 03 with a 14 Dodge last year. With no kids left at home, I went with a regular cab this time around. At first I missed the space but I'm warming up to it now. I get over 20 mpg on the highway and average around 18. My 03 was a full extended cab with an 8' box. On a good day, with the wind, down hill, I averaged around 10 mpg.
Both trucks had the full size V8 HIMI so the difference has to be mostly the weight.

Red.... Dang that's a pretty truck! I wanted red this time but could only find my standard cab long bed in black.
Grrr.... it looks dirty five minutes from the car wash. That is a sweet truck. I hope you love it.

Not my first big boy, but my first pickup. We bought a suburban just after graduation when I got my first real job. Meaning, my first job in my career field. This thing is a beast. The first time I drove it, I was reminded how stiff a 3/4 ton suspension is with no load. It's still in the break in period, so I'm averaging around 10. Once I get past 500 miles, I can start doing freeway, which should push the average up.

Me too I'm afraid. My wife drives a red Grand Am. Though it's near a decade old now that red still looks great.
Definitely my color of choice. My first truck was a GMC. It was that sky blue and white that was popular back in the late sixties. I bought it used for chump change. Was a good solid truck but it had the 454 engine and I rarely enjoyed passing a gas station without stopping. I've had two white trucks and a dark blue one since that first truck. Now black... and I knew better. I had a 78 Trans Am that was black... the Bandit's vehicle. :) I loved that car and washed it all of the time. In 79... with family and all.. I traded it in for a customized van. I hated that ford van but it was nice for trips with the kiddos. I later pulled all of the seats and fridge and stuff out of it and used it for my work truck. When it gave up the second engine I moved to my first truck.. used and worn out. That jimmy served me well though.

I have always liked black cars/trucks even though they are a pain to keep clean, they look so good when they are nice and shiney.

Those both do look nice. I actually had to look around to find a red one. Most dealerships here seem to not like the red for their trucks.

My brother-in-law has owned two red Chevy pickups back to back. However, he just replaced the last one with a white truck. I think he's getting adventurous in his senior years lol.
