OUCH! Sorry to hear that Goat :(. I do like my Otterbox case, though the built-in screen protector is really only good against scratches, the dual layerr protection for the rest of the phone (hard shell surronded by a silicone shell) definitely helps protect the phone.

My second line is now up for upgrade and I was looking at phones on the website. The Rezound is now back to $199.99. With the new upgrade fee (read activation), the only difference between upgrading a phone and a new line is $5 saved on activation, plus you have to pay the "upgrade" fee at time of order where a new customer's activation is deferred until the first bill:mad::mad::mad:. She doesn't want a smartphone, all she wants is a phone with a full, physical keyboard (she hates touch screens) for texting and a decent camera, but there is little offered anymore that fits those criteria.
 
Non-smartphones are definitely getting a lot less common. There isn't as much money in them, so making nice, high end ones is not a priority. At least, that's how it seems to me.
 
Assurion sure as hell takes their sweet time getting everything filed. tried to file yesterday sent the affidavit in via fax yesterday as per their process. I guess they never received it. I had to resend the fax today, and wait for them to call me to finish the claim. Takes between 3-4 hours for a call back. And then I have to find out if they can get me a phone shipped tomorrow, otherwise I have to wait until Monday. FML....

Got my replacement phone today, brand spankin' new rezound, all I have to send back is the damaged phone so I'm keeping the beats, battery, sd card and charger....

I've developed a little problem with mine this week. I haven't quite gotten to the bottom of it just yet. I have the OEM and Winamp for playing my tunes.... which I do daily. After powering up the phone Tuesday and every day since, both players can't find any mp3s to play. My file manager sees the files on my SD card and if one is played within the file manager it plays. Both Pic viewers I use see all of my pictures which also reside on the SD card.. eliminating it being a card issue. The only way I can get my music apps to see my tunes is to do a battery pull. Odd problem... and I have no changes on the phone to point a finger at as a likely culprit. I may have to do a reset to solve the problem. I hate a problem I can't figure out.
 
Watched the Avengers. It is an amazing comic movie, very faithful yet new. I suggest you all get in line to see it and post your thoughts....

I'm a DC fan but I do love the Avengers, Hawkeye being my favorite ;) I'm also pretty big on Joss Whedon

I plan on seeing it in 3-D this weekend and probably a few more times in both 2-D and 3-D. I can't wait for the Dark Knight Rises and the Amazing Spider-Man
 
I finally have my garden completely planted. This year has been ridiculously crazy for me. I managed my first till four weeks ago. It then rained and rained some more. It stayed way too wet to do my deep till. I finished my tilling last weekend though it was still way wet and have planted a little each night.. mostly in the dark. I've been working 12-14 hour days... Too late for potatoes :( I scaled everything back. Eight tomato plants, onions, garlic, green beans, cucumbers, okra, zucchini squash, and a dozen pepper plants. I'll do sweet potatoes end of this coming week or the beginning of the next in my other garden. I have to wait for the slips to come in.
I love to garden but it's been a chore this spring.
 
Hey all! Loving the Rezound. Couldn't take it anymore and have gone on a flashing spree :D. Got my phone multibooting, currently switching back and forth between a debloated deodexed stock GB that I cooked and Team PkMN's Venasaur 3.0 (ICS). Getting ready to flash 3.1 based off the latest ICS leak. Forgot how much fun it was to flash ROMs :cool: :D

I've actually been thinking about doing the temp root so I can use titanium. Someday I'm sure I'll get back into custom ROMs.

Avengers was simply one of the top 5 best movies I've EVER seen!! Absolutely LOVED IT!! Saw it in 2D but may go to see it on IMAX... not really impressed by 3D (plus it kills me eyes)
 
Morning all - Happy Friday!

Got to say, ICS and Sense 4 is the bomb on my Rezound! The only issue(s) I have found is that BT headsets do not work (Phone only, media works - not a big deal, I don't use them), 4G data arrows don't work (does anyone even pay attention to them?), and due to the fruity company's lawsuit, can no longer click links in text messages. Now all I need is a good kernel so I can adjust my cpu clocks like I did with my GB ROM, though the battery life is definitely better on this ROM than it was on Stock GB.

From what I've experienced and read in the forums, just the stock HTC messaging apps. I can't say anything about any 3rd party apps, I've not used them.

I can deal with the not being able to click the links. The battery life is better, this ROM and ICS has some nifty power saving options, though I probably will never be totally happy with the battery life on any smart phone. May jump over to the latest ICS firmware and radios. The radio is supposed to be much better. I'm currently still on the official GB OTA firmware and radios.
Got to get out to see that movie. Hopefully I'll get to go sometime this weekend.
