Droid incredible vs. Droid X download speeds

So my brother has the inc and I have the X. we were comparing phones and such and while downloading apps we noticed his downloads would blaze like 3x faster. Sitting in the exact same spot. What gives? Anyone else having issues with download speeds?

I haven't noticed anything like that with my X, but I don't have an Incredible to test against.

I have notice the same as the OP have both phones full signal on the x and app download snails i have to turn on wifi to get them downloaded idk what it is

just tried the same thing with a friends original droid and speeds were the same. definately still not as fast as it could be tho.

In store today side by side x and Dinc...

while the X got to the web sight a split second quicker the Dinc was finished loading the sight every time.
