Root Droid Iris 2.1 Update???

Hello, Well I just got the droid eris this week, and i got to say I'm loving it. I have been doing a lot of researching on the phone, and it says that 2.1 is available for update, and then I seen its not I'm confused. I would rather update when it comes in, and not manually just to be on the safe side, and does anybody know when the update will be out?

No one noes for sure as to when the update will be out. It could be a few weeks to months.

The Unofficial leaked updates are the only path to 2.1 right now.

I suggest that you root Your phone following this link because If you use the LEAKS you won't be able to do anything special, with root you can do wireless tethering, change everything to your liking on your phone, delete apps you don't want ect.

+1 Then even if you don't like how 2.1 works you still have the option of going back to 1.5.
