You know, i switched over from iphone and I couldn't be more dissatisfied with my purchase. The S5 lollipop update has too many issues and too many sites like yours spouting off rubbish to cover up the mess that's going on. None of the fixes you post fix the phone's issues. And even if it did, you think that's what people want? to pay top dollar for a premium phone that comes to you with bugs fresh out of the box? a phone you have to sit there for hours researching the internet for fixes? Only to find that all the posts only ever say is repetitive bull telling people to a. cache wipe b. factory reset and none of it works. What the heck is wrong with Google? I will never buy another samsung phone again, piece of...

list of problems on S5 that still haven't been fixed.

1. auto bright sensor - derrrr, google say to what? oh partition cache wipe or factory reset or battery reset? install an outside program? really?

2. battery drain- oh the ******* at droid say what again? factory reset? start in safe mode? nothing works b/c its all bull, always pointing you to the same solution because in reality, droid doesn't know how to fix it.

3. apps crashing? - what's the answer here? i think you know...

4. sudden lagginess? - lemme guess, cache wipe again? factory reset? preeerrl?erkejlw? dip de do?

You see, Droid doesn't know how to fix these issues, that's the problem, they tell people they know how to solve the problem when they really don't. They'd rather move on to the s6, which thye have. So these bs fixes are exactly that, cuase they want you to upgrade to s6 and pay more money until the next update that will mess your phone up again, so you have to sit there researching to fix your problems, yet again.... Yeah that's exactly what I want to spend hundreds of dollars on, a new phone that comes broken so you have to sit there and fix your own phone.... yeah... that makes a lot of sense...

And you think signing up here and insulting the site and its members will help you how, exactly?

A few points to bear in mind:

1. This is a user-to-user community. Nobody here either works for or is employed by Google or Samsung; we're all ordinary users like you, who contribute here in our own time.

2. We have a dedicated sub-forum for many popular devices. including the Galaxy S5, where many dedicated members are willing to offer advice and work to overcome issues.

3. Regardless of how frustrated and angry you are, there is no excuse for bad language here. The Site Rules make that clear when you sign up, so please do us the courtesy of complying. Nobody here is responsible for whatever problems you're having, so leave out the insults please.

If you're serious about finding solutions to your complaints then I suggest that you repost in the above-mentioned sub-forum, without the drama and colourful language. I think you'll find plenty of help forthcoming.

Did you buy the S5 for the vibrant screen and the better camera ? If not and you just want an Android phone that is fast, has lots of features and runs smooth return it and get the Galaxy Avant. I got it cheap , I'm on t-mobile 4gLTE , unlimited talk , text and data with 5gb of high speed tethering included for really cheap and I own it . I can unlock it and root it . I also get over 5 hours of screen on time . I downloaded Odin yesterday and I'll be doing the root tonight . It still runs Kit Kat but it runs it flawlessly .

I'm on a S5 currently. Not 1 issue. Just yesterday I got 26 hrs battery life. Non issue there. Auto brightness?? I dont see the issue. Maybe you changed a setting in the display. Apps crashing?? Another I've had no issue with. No exactly sure what the issue is but I have none of what your complaining about. Oh and I'm running lollipop. Maybe ask questions before you come in here being rude and disrespectful. Just saying!!
