Droid Issues

Enk

Newbie
Just got my DROID and brought it home. And now I'm noticing some issues. Not sure if it's just me or if they're all like this.

First, I have little spots on my screen. They aren't dead pixels and they can't be cleaned off. It looks like they are like little spots of residue left over from the screen protector that was on the phone when you buy it. But they don't come off. They're only noticeable when the background is white.

Second, the keyboard is wavy. It's like the rows of the keyboard go up and down, almost like the keyboard didn't fit well in the area it's supposed to go. So the spaces between the rows are lifting up a bit and creating a wavy keyboard. This isn't really much of an issue, but just curious if other people see this as well.

have not had these issues.. id take it back personally. too expensive not to be in perfect shape when you get it

Enk sounds like you got a bad tomatoe... this happens...sorry it's happened to you...

take it back =/

It sounds like you got the de facto defective phone... residue on LCD and parts that don't fit properly causing things to bend and warp.

I think maybe the keyboard issue you have is that the keys have an indent to them. So it appears the the spaces in between the keys are raised a little.

I haven't had any problems with screen residue on mine though.

Alright thanks guys. I'll head back there later today and swap it out. The keyboard isn't a huge issue for me, but the residue on the screen is distracting.
