Droid love!

Sure, the D1 had its days in the sun....we all remember the commercial for the D1....the iPhone killer! Here we are now, new phones have come out, and the D1 has been EOL for a few months, and I must say, this phone still kicks a**! Easy to root, easy to use, and still, to me, as good as the day it came out!

Post if you agree the the Droid is still a kick a** phone to this day! :D

I agree. I went to verizon today to look at the dx and walked out with my d1 still in my pocket. Not that the dx is not good phone but it is just not worth the switch. A rooted d1 is still one of the best out there.

I was just telling friends yesterday that I've never owned a phone for a year and STILL LOVE it. Usually after six months the honeymoon is over and you're lusting after another phone... I can't see any reason to replace. There might be phones as good, but I haven't seen anything that makes me want something else.

I must say I still love mine and been almost a year. It would be nice to have a newer phone but seems like all the new phones does basically the same thing as my D1. So whats the point of wasting money on a new phone right now.

The OG Droid is the most versatile device I have ever owned. It's my browser, my entertainment, my bedside clock, my GPS device... and it even make PHONE CALLS! :D

There is nothing on the horizon that makes me want to give all this up, and the new UltimateDroid Gingerbread ROM that BlackDroid is working on will make it a new phone all over again. It just keeps re-inventing itself and becoming a better device all the time.

I LOVE MY DROID TOO!

I'm glad others agree :D I agree, the phone keeps reinventing itself, plus we can OC it to be faster than thr stock setting for HTC Incredible:) Now maybe after next year I will look @ another phone, right now, D1 is a one size fits all phone so to say
