Hello everyone. After doing some minor research on Blackberry and Droid devices. I found this blog and joined in hopes of meeting Droid veterans and learn from their months or years of knowledge to become a better user and contribute to this forum in the future with useful information.
to start off, I've two big questions that I'd like to address before buying my Droid or a Boost Mobile service plan....
Since I temporarily cannot buy a contract plan on any major provider. I've been considering to buy an unlocked Droid or (if available) Droid 2 to use on Boost Mobile. I've called some the flagship retail stores, as well their customer service dep. And they said that it would work just fine as long as it's an unlocked device. However (not really knowing what the software or service in the Droid and Boost Mobile) taking into consideration these two things. How well would a Droid or Droid 2 device be compatible with Boost Mobile's service? Do the amps or mobile browser not work as well on Boost?
Second. Am I better off using T-Mobile's gsm based service? Since they offer great coverage across the globe and I plan to travel to Europe in the near future in a foreign exchange program.
