Same. Plus no physical keyboard so no snes roms unless you like your thumbs getting in the way of the game. Plus it just came out so no one barely did anything to it to make it cooler rooting wise. The droid has been in the hands of the devs for a long time and the roms are getting better and better. That new skin on the x kinda sucks. sense and blur get in the way of things, the original droid came to us naked!;)

can i still upgrade to an LTE phone and get my NE2 next year or would I have to sign a new contract which would force me to wait longer?

frankly, i like my droid and couldn't give a sh*t about any other phones that come out that aren't LTE capable. hell, it's like a new one of those pops up every other week. ha!

all contracts, discounts, and LTE/3G discussion aside, i personally feel that the Incredible is the best phone on the market for me right now. i'm VERY happy with my droid but I don't need the physical keyboard and I'm not into rooting. and the droidx is nice but WAY too big for me.

Yes. I would take a Droid X. I can do without the crappy keyboard on my Droid 1. Droid X is faster and has more memory too. Who does NOT want a faster phone with more memory?!

The larger screen and extra RAM is more than enough for me to want to switch, I can deal with having no keyboard since the X comes with swype.

As much as I said I could probably deal without the physical keyboard, after trying my dad's X, I can say with confidence that I won't even be thinking about an upgrade until an Android device with at least a 4.3" screen AND a physical keyboard is released.

Plus, the fact that custom ROMs and kernels can't be loaded yet is a serious problem as well. I refuse to buy a phone without knowing full well that it can be fully rooted and hacked to bits, just like the Droid can be. Because I'm not going to force myself to rely on some lazy-ass manufacturer that releases updates 5 months after they're due to get new iterations of Android.
