Root Droid over heating after putting on this ROM

Well i installed CM7 #13 and ever since i did that it became hot. I just left my phone alone and let it calm down. I was charging it while i was on laptop and my phone was very hot. I checked the temp and it was 120. Is this normal for this to happen? My phone is over clocked at 800 also. What should i do?
 
Could try another kernel and see if that fixes it. like a CHevy Ultra low kernel. Mine charging is around 95 to 105.
