Droid Screen lifespan

Hi all,

Quick and hopefully easy question to answer. Does anyone know the "lifespan" of the droid screen. I guess what I am wondering is, lets say you get a multimedia dock for it, and keep it in there 8 hours a day, 5 days a week (at least). Will that shorten the lifespan of the screen itself?

Any have a rough idea by chance?

it's lifespan is probably alot longer than any of us will actively use/own one
