Droid screen problems.

Hello all. So I always carry my droid in my left pocket. Well my pants got damp the other day the phone itself didn't seem wet but the screen started acting so crazy i had to do a battery pull. Well now when you hold the phone in portrait mode the left 20 pixels do not respond to touch. Making any action on the screen a non responce and the back button does not work. Is there anything i can do to fix this. Has anyone else ever encountered this?

I have a simular issue Mine is a droid 2.
It started after the pastic protecters were installed.

this Might be the Problem : I think what it is doing is lifing the top off the Bottom and it shorts out the Phone.

Solution: I right now do not have a screen, not cracked but I can recieve calls if that makes any sens. nothing else works. The Protectors or Phone needs a fix for this mabe like a extra track so the Phone wont break..

The Dorid 2 is a good phone but Like Linux ~ the O/S Always breaks. wow! someone invented an O/S that breaks over time. Can we have an option for some other O/S please?

My Droid 1 must of become self-aware and decided to go completly crazy. Display started opening apps, calling voice mail and just doing wierd things. A large area on the lower left (in portrait mode) would not respond to touch including the "back" icon. I did have a protective cover. The device was not dropped and was carried in a shirt pocket.
I took it to the Verizon Store last night at 5:15pm and 15 hours 26 minutes later a replacement was delivered to my front door.

I've had the same issue. Well out of any warranty though. I've had HTC devices in the past that still have a working screen (winmo 6.5) and I am not at all happy with Motorola at this point. Not even 1.5 years old and the screen flakes out? What kind of crap is that?! And now seeing soooo many others with the same problem just assures me my next phone will not be from Motorola!! I've pampered this phone and there is no reason at all for this issue to be occurring.
