Before the 2.1 upgrade my home page rotated (and yes i have the check box selected in settings) and after 2.1 it no longer rotates when I turn the phone sideways. Is there a way to fix this without getting a home replacement?

I just checked and my home page is rotating. My 2.2 upgrade came on Tuesday, I don't know if that makes any difference.

All's I know is that I didn't Change any settings and now it doesnt rotate the screen. I have the stock home and I tested it on my friends phone and hers doesn't rotate either. If any one can think of something I can try I'd appreciate it its annoying to not have the rotate feature and I don't want to change from the stock home.. thankd

I use launcher pro for my home page, I'm not sure if that's why mine is rotating and yours isn't. It's free on the market, I don't know if it will make any difference for rotation, but it's something free to try.

I'd also try a re-start.

I now have the equivalent of 10 home pages since I can scroll the shortcuts at the very bottom for an additional three different groupings.

One can, also, set the number of primary home pages from 1 to 7.

Also, on the shortcuts at the bottom (the dock), you can assign two actions to each icon (tap and swipe gesture) giving you six actual groupings.

The bottom line is LAUNCHER PRO ROCKS!!!

wavesecure and lookout do that. Both require an annual subscription but they have quite a lot of features.

If you go into facebook, menu, setting, there's an option to sync your FB friends with only those that are in your contact list or to turn of the sync completely if I remember correctly.

That is the multitasking menu. List of your 6 most recent apps.

Holding this down brings up the most recent apps used.

For those that don't like the slider thing every time you want to wake the phone, get this APP. Set it to "awake stay" mode, and just like that......slider gone. I love this feature cause it's annoying to me that I have to press the lock button AND the slider to unlock the home screen.

When you want to lock the screen again, just hit the top button.

You must make a contact for the voice mail pass code to work this way. Good Luck it works

I tried this and it didnt work for me. I used your example and tried diffrent variations and no luck . How man pauses need to be in it?

You must create a contact that is *86,,****# for the phone number and under name or Organization = Voice mail

This does work well

I've been reading a lot of the posts and although most of them are very helpful, I haven't seen anything regarding Contacts. Is there a way to set up my contacts into groups/folders so I can easily send 10-15 friends an e-mail without scrolling through my contact list and attach them?

Create a Group for them or hit the "STAR" to the right in edit mode and they become a favorite in the favorites tab
