Help droid touch screen keyboard

Hi all, I hope someone can help because this is driving me crazy, when I have my droid vertical, and use the keyboard for texts, email etc. the P, L, and DEL keys are not working instead when I attempt to press the P, I get an O, when I try an L, I get a K, and when I try the DEL key I get and M. It seems that the whole right side is out of wack. These are the only keys that it happens on and when I turn the phone horizontal i have no problems. Can this be calibrated, or fixed. I've tried all I know how to, hope someone can help.

are you rooted? stock keyboard? maybe clean your screen? factory reset?
