Droid Ultra - Randomly Opening Music Player

My highly touted Ultra has an annoying habit of randomly opening and playing music files. Tried: Power cycling device, installing ATK, uninstalling DoubleTwist and going back to native player.
I routinely hit the power button to bring up lock screen when I'm done with whatever. No help.
Any suggestions would be appreciated! If nothing else works, I'll do a factory reset.

Load it in Safe Mode. If it stops then you know you have a buggy app causing the problem.

Also... maybe check the Assist function. Driving. Make sure the "Resume Music Play" is unchecked.

And for the love of God, uninstall ATK

No, I've never tried that. How do I boot into safe mode and what will it tell me?

Hit Power button. When menu appears long press on Power off then hit OK.

You return to normal by doing a normal reboot.

If the problem stops while in Safe Mode then it is caused by an app that you (she) added.
