Droid without a contract

I want to buy a new droid without a contract from Amazon and I live in Turkey. I wonder that can I use it and its features properly in Turkey. I couldn't find the answer in the web, please help me

You need to check if they support CDMA over there. Otherwise importing a Milestone instead of a Droid is a better option.

The Droid will not work there. It's locked on Verizon and has yet to be hacked.

OK. Thanks for replies. I have researched that CDMA support, other kind of CDMA will be supported (W-CDMA) who knows when. So, I should wait for unlocked Milestone right?
