Lurker
I have a Droid Incredible 2. When I first got the phone it would sync with my computer, but it took a lot of work. Now my phone will not sync with any computer, and it is not does not show it is even connected to the PC to even download media. Any ideas? I have tried everything!! So aggravated!!

No notifications on the phone or PC when you connect? You may have connection problems. Try another cable. If not the cable, it may be your phone. Take it to Verizon if it doesn't work.

In the mean-time try Wifi File Transfer to DL media. There are a few options like it, but that is what I use (the PRO version).

BTW, you have no problems charging? Just connecting to PC?

I am having this problem now too. I connect the phone to my mac as usual, and although it charges, I don't get prompted with the connection options (charge only, disk drive, media sync, etc). I can't get to that menu through the notifications pull-down either.

My phone is not rooted. I did try restarting it which didn't change anything. Quite frustrating.

I'd just try another cable, some are only rated to charge and not transfer files (even some of he Verizon branded ones only charge). First try another computer though if you have access to one. Usually the issue is computer related not phone related.

...and when I connect to my PC (Window 7 Enterprise) my phone says it can't find the HTC sync on my pc, and my PC says it can't find a device. Getting frustrated.

Thanks for the idea, but I've tried other cables. And the fact that they still charge the phone makes me think it's not the cables themselves. At this point I still can't get any response when plugging into my personal computer (which is a Mac), but it sometimes works when I plug it into a Windows computer.
