Help Droid X 2.1-update1 will not update

I have been hunting around for a while and I cannot find a fix. I have a brand new Droid X
Firmware: 2.1-update1
Baseband: BP_C_01.09.02P
Kernel: 2.6.29w30471@il93lnxdroid01#1

I have tried the updating my phone by checking for system updates. It finds the update and tries to download it. It ALWAYS errors "unexpected error occurred, please try again later" I am completely confused. This phone has never been modified, it was new in the box when I got it. I have tried multiple "update.zip" files that are supposed to update the firmware but have had no positive results. They have all failed. Please someone help me out!!

**Just a note, I am not completely new, my previous phone was a Droid running 2.3.2. I am feeling like the upgrade the X was a huge downgrade.

Since your phone is stock, you could simply swing by your friendly neighborhood VZ store and have them update your phone. You could also sbf it with the full .340 sbf, but that's a lot more work.
