Droid x 2 no 4g?

Is it true the x2 isn't 4g? How will this phone compare to the thunderbolt. By the way i already have the droid x. Will the x2 be a sufficient upgrade?
 
No 4G. If you already have the DX I don't know if this is worth your time. Only upgrades are dual core and HDMI mirroring I believe...anyone else want to add?
 
but yeah if you already have the DX i might would hold off. on the Dx2 at least until some official reviews and comparisons come in after release. You know as soon as its released every cell phone site/blog will bust their hump to do a DX1/DX2 comparison
 
For me personally no 4g will keep the price point reasonable so I can upgrade from my Eris to the DX2. I'd rather have the screaming processor than the screaming download speed at this point. Just me though.
 
Depending on the tech used for the Droid X 2 display, the Droid X 1 could be better. If like the Atrix, only about 70% of the pixels are active, due to the tech used to light the diodes.

The TBs display blows the Atrix away, since the TBs resolution is REAL instead of apparent like the Atrix. Kind of like the amoled on the Incredible. Looks good to a lot of folks, but the true resolution for active pixels is about 70%. Text REALLY shows this issue.
 
While I agree about the TB having a very vivid display it absolutely sucks outside. Along with other problems I had with it I am selling it and the dim outside display was one of the main reasons. I am back on my DX and I am really thinking about the DX2. That would definitely hold me over until the Bionic is released. :)
 
You could be right. My brother has the Atrix so I will get to see it this weekend and see how well the display does overall. We shall see.

Good ole Pentile Matrix huh....

I HATED that about the Amoled, S Amoled screens. I applaud Samsung for fixing it with S Amoled +. As I do more reading on my phone than playing clips, videos I'm pretty sure I would notice it.

I really need to play with an Atrix and X2 soon.

I dont know I guess it is different for everyone. I saw an atrix today, and I was blown away by the screen quality, I really dont know may be they have improved the screen quality over time.
