For those of you who have it now, how long does it take? I tried twice and it just sits there for ten minutes "looking for the update" and nothing happens. I am not rooted.

got mine last night around 11:30 or so East Coast time. download took about 10 minutes or so reboot took 4 or 5. I honestly didn't think I was gonna get it so quickly.

Haven't had any of the issues people are reporting, no recog via usb, sound etc.
I really dislike the auto-updates for market apps, I read horror stories about updates that fry the app, such as pandora and now i'm forced to dl it.
All of my friends with the Incredible and the Droid 1 had to wait a day or two after release to get 2.2.......just keep foring the update, verizon batches it out

The contact pics look a little different and i've noticed the unlock bar and the menu screens are a little slow at the moment.

What 'fun' changes should I look out for?

Grabbed mine this AM, successfully re-rooted via the manual droid 2 method. So much for Universal Root moving su to the xbin or whatever. That didn't stick unfortunately. Oh well, most all is well it appears in the end.

It finally hit me to try a battery pull! It worked. It pulled it instantly, no searching or other BS. Waiting for it to finish now. wooo hooooo!!!
