Fabolous

Don't know why I didn't think to post this up earlier. Now I'm at work, lol, sneaking this up.

bootanimation.zip

Copy to /data/local or /system/media

This is the boot animation from the actual device!

Just got it installed (had to download my own file from my phone, lol)

It's awesome.

what else has been proted from the droid x? the blockbuster app?

Keyboard (only for 2.1)

I don't really know, I'm at work -- gotta get back to work, lol.

I just realized that I should probably post this up, since a quick search yielded no results.

Any chance to a link to the keyboard??? Is it any better? I just "downgraded" to CM's 2.1

The data folder is better because it preserves your stock boot animation. Just put it in data/local and reboot, and if you don't like it, simply delete it and you have your old animation back

I pulled the bootanimation.zip from the /system/media folder via adb before pushing this one onto it.. and it is AWESOME!

real nice.

any reason why it seems to run at a low framerate, though? it's not as smooth as the stock Droid animation.

something about how large the actual image files are because its ported from the X which has a 4.3 inch and how those larger images are higher quality

actually it's because the framerate in the desc.txt file was set to 10, lol. changed it to 25 and re-zipped and it runs nicely smoother on my droid.
