Accessories Droid X + Car Mount = Dash Cam

It turns out that the car mount from Motorola doesn't obstruct the camera, turning your phone into a dash cam. Not sure why you would need one, but if you did...it works very nice with no modifications.

Yep, except I have it mounted on top of the dash.

Yep I actually figured this out last week and was completely blown away by how awesome it was. I recorded a sever thunderstorm and downpour on my way home from work on the interstate... very cool.

That's the dock for the original Droid.

I've been thinking about getting a car dock for that very reason. BTW, great song on your radio - one of my all time favorites.
