Help Droid X drops 3g continuously ...

Anybody having a problem with the X dropping 3g when browsing the web? It seems like I can be on the web, let's say fox news, and I could be reading for 20 min and then the 3g is down. Then I have to wait 5-10min for it to come back on. Im rooted with z4 root, no custom roms. Any ideas?
 
i think its trying to tell you to get off of Fox News. lol not trying to start a war so i'll take my cheap shot and get back on topic. but yes. i have this happen to me occasionally too. i do not know what causes it and its infuriating when it happens while i'm trying to do something or have something tethered to my phone. sometimes the "down time" waiting for 3g to come back can be shortened by a reboot or 2. not a fix, but might help ya out a bit.
 
Droid Life is reporting that there is a confirmed issue with the Verizon network dropping 3 and 4 g coverage. I noticed it for a bout 15 min this morning, but it was back up quickly. So for now I would say it is an issue with Verizon.

I've noticed also - was sitting next to my brother last night and tried to send him an mms with a pic attached. took literally 10 minutes due to my having 1bar of 1x coverage where i have typically had 4 bars of 3g in the past..beyond weird.

I'm having the same issue now.:mad:

Update: Just discovered it was my fault. I screwed up the data settings and discovered this so now all is well again in my Droid X world!
