Why is it that my mom that is the account holder can get the Droid X for $99.99?

According to the image she is offered a $100 oline discount and a $100 new every two discount. Apparently she has the primary phone on the account and has been a VZW subscriber for a few years (since that is the legacy NE2 discount).

Think you just answered your own question buddy. She's the account holder. Secondary lines aren't eligible for NE2 credits.

You could always use her NE2 if she's nice and then just switch your numbers when you get the phone instead of her number being on the X.
