Droid X in the Wild

I'm in L.A. and I've only seen two. One my classmate has and another at a Starbucks it still had the "screen protector" that came with the phone on it!!

Im starting to think my town is a Apple Cult, because EVERYONE has iPhones. Not even kidding, I live just above Houston and kids from 15 to old men to 70 have iPhones, they are as common as trees.

I now consider myself part of the Android Rebellion. :D

3 co-workers of mine have X's on the 15th we had fedex deliver 4 of them, it was pretty exciting,. co-worker #3 had to hold one in his hand and see it the he called around and found the last one at a local store and picked it up.

I did have someone ask me what it was and when I answered, their reply was:

"But its not an iPhone"

It was just like that animation...

I work in the Viacom building in TS, MTV studios is here, lots of "young" people in the building, I have been asked many times if my X was an iPhone. I don't even understand how that could be a question seeing that the iPhone has pretty much looked the same for the past 4yrs.

Even had a coworker in my engineering firm ask me the same question, I thought we were all nerdy enough to know better

Our town is less than 3000 people. The Verizon store has 17 Droid X units sold with those people still waiting but has yet to be able and get any in stock. They have them ordered but never received any. Mine was the first one they have seen. I picked mine up at the local Wally World.

At my work, me and the 3 other network guys all bought the Droid X. The 3 programmers in the office didn't. I think they are still using analog phones! ;)
