Help Droid X Keyboard for froyo.

So we desperately need this ported over to froyo? I have swiftkey at the moment and it sucks, and lags like crazy. Please drop any information you have here. I know this has been ported for root, but what about us non-root folks?

Yup it works great. There are also some good skinned versions floating around on xda if you want a different look.

Just installed it and my initial reaction is that I like this better than the stock keyboard and the Swype keyboard. VERY easy to type on this - especially in landscape mode.

If you already installed the prev one and want a themed one instead you're going to have to uninstall the original one first

in changed the save name to .apk when downloading, put it on my sd card, and all it says is "problem parsing....." ??

i installed the one that was linked from xda for 2.2 and yeah i have froyo.

did that, tried to do a boot to hboot, then go into recovery and do it from there, but no go... im fine with my swype. -shrug.........just like other options.

Could you give instructions on how to iinstall. I have the apk downloaded and saved to my sd card. it is a zipped file and i dont know how to install it. do i unzip first. Step by step for non-tech person would be appreciated. man i hate this stock keyboard!
