Accessories Droid X Mulitmedia Dock

I have a few questions about the droid x dock so here they are.

1. When its just sitting on a desk how hard is it to get in and out of the dock. Do you have to apply a little bit of force to get it in and also can you just pick it up out of the dock, or does the whole thing come with it?

2. Does it slide around if you touch the screen?

3. During the night how bright is the screen? Is it anoyingly noticeable?

4. Would you recommend it?

1. It sometimes requires a little finegeling to get the DX to seat properly in the dock.

2. That depends on how much force you use when touching the screen.

3. In dock mode there is a brightness button displayed on the screen.

4. It's OK... I use mine at my desk at work in lieu of a clock.

My $.02.

1. Easy. Occasionally I have to do a little fiddling to get stuff to line up properly, but most of the time the phone pretty much pops right in. To take it out of the dock, I hold the dock with one hand and pull the phone out with the other. If you have big hands and/or better dexterity than me you might be able to do it one-handed.

2. Doesn't slide around for me.

3. I don't use the dock at night (only during the day on my desk at work). As martimus noted, when docked there is a button to adjust screen brightness. Also, I know a lot of people use Tasker to set the brightness to their preferred level for day/night use.

4. Yes, I'd recommend it, but I should note that I've never used another type of dock so I don't really have anything to compare it to.
