how does this keyboard compare to smart keyboard pro? thats what im running and i really like it

edit: i would check myself but im on froyo

Just my two cents: I installed it, and went back to Smart Keyboard Pro. I don't know, but I can type faster & more accurately using Smart Keyboard Pro than the stock Android, the HTC keyboard, or this new one.

Looks like someone over at XDA's got this ported. Already confirmed to be incompatible with Froyo, but I'm sure there are plenty of people running 2.1 that want to give this a try.

You need to have "non-market sources" enabled in your application settings. You can install the file with any file manager, such as Astro.

Report back with your experiences! Also, apparently the vibrate when key pressed feature doesn't work.

A lot more snappy on my Incredible. Vibrate does work on mine.

After going to settings and enabling the keyboard. Go to your messages hold the message box,click input method, select multi touch.

Is there any news on whether a 2.2 version is on the horizon? Will with have to wait for Moto to write the apk for it (possibly when they release 2.2 for Droid X)?
