Help Droid X music player issue

My droid x has been freezing lately when i play music on the music player that came with the phone. Anyone having similiar issue?

Is it the way i put music on the phone? i dont use the software media connect or whatever..I simply attach my phone to computer with USB, open up the folders on the phone, go into the DCIM folder, drag mp3's over to this folder from my music on computer. Seemed to work fine in the past. ANYway, now my phone will freeze when using the music player on phone..

Ive only used the default app. I am pretty sure i have all updates. Which update you refering to exactly?

I just updated my system (Why the heck wasnt this done over the air??) to system 2.3.340

I was having that issue too. I believe the update addressed it however while waiting for the update I found Winamp and now I only use that so I do not know if the update did fix the music bug or not.
