As far as Task Killers go, there has been much discussion here and other forums regarding their usefulness or even more so their harmfulness on android devices. Linux based OSs like Android handle operations differently than windows based OSs. In Android they are frozen in state and do not consume system cycles, making them faster to launch. If you kill the process, then the system has to open it back from zero every time you relaunch the app, consuming more resources.

2 weeks with the droid x and am still happy . I like the over size screen and the phone runs smooth .
