Help droid x resets in mass storage mode

Hey y'all,
Every time I connect my droid X to my computer and put it into mass storage mode, it does a quick reset. Does anybody know how I can fix this without doing a factory reset?

I just bought the X two days ago and I experienced my first unexpected re-boot when I connected to my computer and switched into USB mass storage. (I needed to transfer some photos from the phone to my computer.)

I have no apps on the SD card. Any idea if this is a flaw to return the phone over? I have 12 days to decide...

Go to settings, applications, manage applications, go to on SD card, move all of them to phone.

I had this problem and I moved all my apps from the card to the phone and it doesn't boot when I connect it to the usb cable. Thanks for the tip.

Did you check the menu listed above? A few apps install to SD by default and some people aren't aware of it so you may have apps on SD even if you didn't move them there.

If you checked the menu above, though, I don't know what it is; I had the same problem, moved my apps to internal storage, and the problem went away completely.

Me too. Had my Droid X less than a week and I got a re-boot on connection to usb mass storage. I checked and there was one app installed on the SD card. Moved the app off the SD card and the problem stopped.
