Droid X roms and camera mods

hey guys i'm pretty new to Android and the Droid X will be my first smartphone. I'm really excited and at the same time a little sad b/c i've been doing a lot of research and reading about rooting and the droid world and the with encryped BL on the DX...

anyways... my question is this: the droid x can record 720p video at about 24 fps. is there any kind of mod/tweak/code that can up that fps to 30, assuming u can at least root but not break the encryption?

yes but not on launch day, it could take up to four months :/
