Accessories Droid X Trident case, best case ever?

I seen a member name Sharkcase (or something like that) is in the process of making a case... does anyone have any info on this?
 
I love my trident, great fit and easy to install, not obtrusive at all. I just don't need that kind of protection for everyday use.

I have one and really like it. It is bulky, but I work outside so it works for me. The only issue I have with it is the screen protector. It's kind of a pain to clean.
 
I have ordered a black edition of the Trident case. I am currently using an Otterbox Defender and have an Otterbox Commuter, the official VZW TPU case, and a cheap silicon wrap sitting on a shelf in my office. I'll be interested to see how well the Trident ranks for against the other options.

Please let us know how they compare! I'm wanting a case with more protection than the high gloss silicone I got for my DX just so I wouldn't be completely caseless in the event of a drop. But I'm ready for something with more protection for the ports, etc.

I'm a big fan of the Otterbox Commuter for medium protection while maintaining the thin profiles; the Trident Kraken is the best heavy-hitter I've tried so far.
 
I bought a red and black Trident Kraken case for my droid X. I had picture quality issues when I used the flash. Whenever I took a picture with flash, it would come out with a red haze. Here is how I solved the problem: Take a black permanent marker and color the inside of the flash and camera lens hole in the Kraken case. The picture quality should go back to normal when using flash. I also colored outer edges of both holes black just to make it look better.
The Trident Kraken case manufacturer should have realized this and colored the flash and camera lens hole black....
 
im currently using the trident kraken case ive broke 5 of the otterbox cases dont last a day in my proffession i work in EMS if im lucky i can get almost a week out of an otter box before i break it ive had the kraken for almost 2 months and it still looks brand new ive dropped it kicked it thrown it and hit the occasional combative patient with it and its still like new like someone else said the screen protector gets dirty and greasy really quick but its easy to clean with an alcohol prep and a 4x4 i love my case and the holster which you do have to buy extra but well worth the money wont own any case for my droid x. also love the fact that its dust proof and it does repel water do have to say ive spilled a full coke on it once and other than having to clean it off there was no damage to the phone. the kraken case is kinda bulky but its actually a good thing fits better in my hand and feels better since the droid x is so skinny
