Root Droid X Widgets for Droid, Possible?

I was curious with all the stuff being ported over form the Droid X to work with Droid, is anyone going to try to port over the new widgets. I saw a video today that stated that the Droid X was not running any kind of moto-ninja-anything blur. The rep that the blogger was talking to said that there was no blur that the widgets were just widgets.

So any idea if anyone is going to try to bring them over? Some of them looked rather interesting.

the real issue is the whole 2.1 to 2.2 issue. no one has been able to get the keyboard ported over. its also possible that the widgets have a special signature from moto like with htc sense widgets

I thought they ported the keyboard...least i hope it is lol i'm currently using the multitouch keyboard from Droid X

sorry...i thought you meant on 2.1 roms... I just switched back to 2.1, so i'm still in the mindset of 2.2 lol
