Help Droid X Won't Charge

I just got my droid x yesterday and i went to charge it 2 hours ago and came back to it and it hasnt charged at all even though when i plugged it in it said it was charging. Now its running kinda slow and has orange battery life. my phone is also really hot. what do i do? thanks

I'd start with pulling the battery and then putting it back in. Then try charging again. Are you using the AC Adapter or a USB port to charge?
 
Call VZ CS get them to send a replacement i had the same issues with my first device it just gets worse it has something to do with the usb power regulator malfunction inside device.

If you order now you may get one befors it dies completely i think posted ship date is arounf 23rd of august

I have come across this issue on a number of other forums also

Note do not accept a refurb make sure it is new replacement

yeah i tried doing that. im using the wall charger. i changed outlets too but nothing seems to work.

yeah i just called and they are sending me a new one by tuesday hopefully yhis one works.
 
I had a small issue where mine starting acting ******ed like this. Turns out the usb cable that came with the phone was fubar. Luckily I have 3 others from getting bluetooth accessories/vehicle charger but that's hella quick for that cable to go bad :\
