I'm finally buyingd an extended battery for my x and the surrounding stores by me seem to only come up with the extended battery for the x2. does anyone have confirmation that this will fit my original x?

yes they fit, several have gotten them, so your all good, and if it doesnt work, you can always return it and get an X battery
