Root DroidRom 1.0 is out in the updater!

I am - but that is because I just wiped to try out Pete's 2.1/0.3 BB anyway, so I have nothing to lose :p

I also changed one or two options, like leaving in Email and something else

Cool thats what I wondered? Next question anyone know were to find the smoked glass for morph?
 
So i downloaded this and it says I need to give it permission, but there is not button for this, it just says "Check Again"...Whats the problem. I am running 2.0.5 with live wallpapers.
 
just finished loading it up and it worked just like they said it would. all the lwps are up and running for me. now time for bed. 4am comes quick and i dread 10 hour days .
 
you have livewallpapers installed right?? (DOUBLEDEE) if you do you need to update to new version of them with updated framework. Then you will get the popup for hit allow
 
Yup - but at least one person is seeing it not actually OC even though SetCPU says it is OC'd.

In fact, make that 2 people - my benchmarks at 1000 MHz are more like benches for 600 MHz, even though it 'says' it is at 1000....
 
It is the same as 2.0.6 except with a new bootanimation,live wallpapers, and no smoked glass theme. It has a kernel that can be OC'ed to 1200MHz.

If you installed v1 of live wallpapers... you will get permission denied because of an issue with su permission in that version. So, go to this website: AllDroid - View topic - [release]Live Wallpapers for Droid 2.0.1 v1.1 *UPD 02/20/10*, and then download and install the new version of live wallpapers the same way you did the first time. This new version fixes everything and you will be able to update

Its prob the live Wallpapers. I heard they are a CPU hog.


I am gonna download it but Im sticking with 2.0.6 for now cause I like my smoked glass and not really impressed with the wallpapers.
 
I don't mind this update, didn't like smoked glass, didn't use it in 2.0.6 so it doesn't bother me that it is gone.

Reflash 2.0.5 then try again. Live Wallpapers is the culprit.
 
wow wow wow is all i can say. just flashed to droidrom 1.0 and everything is working fast and beautiful. no lag at all. i now have live wallpaper and still have smoke glass. when can we donate again to these guys?
 
I find it amazing how so many of you don't understand how to apply the smoked glass theme to a ROM. Any ROM. If it's not built into the ROM, you guys are screwed.
