Does the little green LED light only blink when you get a message?.

Or should it blink all the time? (Swore it was doing it all the time)
 
It reminds me of my 10 year old Star-Tac lmao. It had a little blinking green light on the back for service yellow for roam and red for no service. Man they have come a LONG way.
 
Yea, it's just for notifications. Out of box, I believe it's green for email, texts and I think VMs and missed calls, and it's red for low battery.

You can also use an app like Missed Reminder, which allows you to assign different colors for different notifications
 
I don't know if anyone have noticed it but you can get different LED colors for each notifications automatically. For example on my Droid, emails/texts = green, twidroid = blue, and meebo=purple and of course, red=low battery. I thought that was pretty cool.
