Root Droidwall on standard rooted rom

i have been trying to use droidwall but kept running into the "iptables not fourn" error, my phone is rooted and the app has super user permissions but still no go

i googled the issue and the only thing i could find is that you need a none standard rom with access to iptables enabled to use droidwall

i just waated to know if this is the case or is there a way for me to use droidwall without using a custom rom coz that be great

i know the phone has to be rooted and mine is rooted there seems to be a secondary need aswell im just not sure of this

This might sound really stupid.. what is 'rooting'?

It is a way of unlocking the operating system of your phone enabling you to have more control over it, a bit like Jailbreaking an iPhone (but you may not have heard of that either). Plenty of rooting discussions on these forums. You need to be careful though as it can ruin your phone.

Just that droidwall works on my evo, on a custom ROM.
