Help DroidX color darker than other area on the screen

Hi Androidforums member,

I wanna ask a question about my droidx screen since on an area of my droidx screen seems darker than any other area on the screen. It will be more visible if the background is blue and gray. Is it DroidX problem's or it's normal ? I am curios why it's happened, my understanding is because the TFT screen or because of my screen-shield protector. Because I already test on 2 droidx handset, and both of them had similar problems. On my other droidx, some area on the screen is darker than any other area if the background is white.Below, i give you the capture of the screen from my droidx.

I have the same problem just with a smaller area. 98% of the time its not noticeable. I have never seen an iphone or another phone with the same problem.

how long has it happened to your phone ? Is it getting worse than the first time you realize that problem ? Because i'm curious what caused it and how to solve it
