Help Dropbox 50g

What do you have to do to get the extra 50g with a Note 2? i started an account from my phone and i only have 2.5g

It is also for existing accounts but not sure how it works. Two days ago I got my SGN2 and after Dropbox download and sign in I received email "Dropbox bonus space received!". It is 50 GB and my used space is 2.5GB.

Sign into DB using the phone app.

BTW~ whose you're carrier. It's my understanding not all carriers opted for this. I'm on Sprint and rec'd the 50GB storage when I signed in.

Samsung web site states that Verizon and ATT opted out of the Samsung/Dropbox bonus. Guessing these two don't want you actually using up all the data package you paid for.

 Surprise, surprise, surprise.

I'm also upset, VZW shipped without the earbuds in the Note 2. I have no shortage of earbuds, but just another way of Big Red to sock it to us.

I'm on Sprint, got my Note 2 last week, signed into a new account on DB, but still only have 2.5GB. I think the extra 500MB was for agreeing to upload my photos.

Edit: When I signed in from my phone, I did get a notification email a few minutes later. Thanks for the tip! :)

I was all about this until I realized it's only for 2 years. The last thing I need to do is get hooked on a pay service.

For dropbox I had to do certain tasks to activate my 50GB, one task was email other people and tell them about dropbox,

As a huge user of Dropbox (we use this with our virtual expert witness practice for all of our files), I just have to say that whatever the cost, it is 100% worth it two years from now. This is one product I use on a day to day basis and don't know if I could live without it at this point.

It's tied into so many apps and devices at this point, making it invaluable to me.

I think thats the key...I got the 50gb after logging on, and then i had to activate dropbox on another computer, notify a friend, read some tutorials, etc. Then the 50gb showed up, but its only for 2 years...

on T-mobile btw, if that makes a difference.
