Root Dropbox free 25gb?

Hello, so I came over this one a cupple of days back. And i wonder, if i have a Dropboxaccount with 5gb, and flash this one, do i get 25gb? 25gb + 5gb = 30gb? Or does it not work with the version?

Would be fun to have 30gb

I have not tried that rom, but I can confirm that I got extra space by flashing a Sense 3.5 rom a few months ago. That one only lasted 12 months though, this offer may be the sane.

I read an article on Phandroid a week or so ago that said Dropbox were removing the extra storage if you didn't actually have a One/Sense4.0 device. I'm not sure if that related to One ROMs or folk who'd hacked the dropbox app though.

I just saw a ROM on a thread on XDA that was based on one of the "One" series of phones and it said that you would get 25GB of dropbox storage for having the ROM (or 23GB is you already had 2GB free) and that it lasts 2 years (I think) - will have a look and confirm!

You are indeed correct, I gave a sense 4 rom a go and got 23gb extra which lasts for two years.

How did ya' get a 2 years? When will Dropbox fix this?

The 23GB is free extra space for 2 years by putting a Sense 4 ROM on your phone.

Anyone know what happens if they remove my storage if i get caught? can i still download the stuff or are the items that are over 5gb blocked?

What do you mean "if you get caught"? How do they know that you haven't had (but not kept) one of the new One series of phones with Sense 4 on it? Also... you only have the extra storage of 2 years... not indefinitely!
