Help dropped calls

Anyone having issues with dropped calls? On my second phone and keeps happening. All the other phones on my account seem to be fine

I have not had any. Even in areas of low/ no coverage where my Captivate would drop calss thr GS II has not done so.

Happened on my 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

I wasn't receiving texts either.

I finally gave up and got my money back, I'll be waiting for another device to come out.


Edit: Before someone says "BUT MY PHONE ISN'T DOING IT, IT'S YOUR AREA". That's not the case, this phone is confirmed to have a weak radio. It explains why I would drop down to 5-40kb Download speeds often. My area is FULL 4G (3.5G )

Having come from a IPhone 4 I had drop calls constantly. I changed sim cards and it wouldn't make any difference. Once I got this Galaxy S II. I haven't had one dropped call.....it's been a week now. NO complaints here.

This has just started hapeening to me yesterday. I was advised to do a hard reset but I just ran the phone in safe mode and the problem stopped. Went back to normal mode and it started again.

I now suspect it is a rogue App cuasing the problem. I'm going to try removing the latest ones to see if that corrects the problem.

Its worth a shot....

Just out of curiosity, where has it been confirmed the SG II has a weak radio? I have seen nothing about that.

I have a problem with missing texts, sending and receiving them. Haven't noticed any difference over my past phone, the 3gs, in dropped calls.

I had a lot of in and out's in calls , phone kept skipping while talking

I have had no problem and actually get better than normal reception. I used to not get any service at all in my basement, when friends would come over they wouldnt either, so att tmobile and verison never get service in my basement, but this phone gets 2 bars and i can make calls when i used to go outside to make a call. never had a problem sending or receiving texts either

mine might of only have been because I was heavily using youtube and switching back and fourth in calls and I was in a park next to the water, I then got out of that area and then the phone was ok after that so now i'm a little relieved about it hope that was it !
