Dropped from 12+ feet, still kickin'

You know what is not so nice about having a rather slim phone? It being able to fall through the smallest of gaps without an issue (in my case, the gap between a wall and a set of bleachers.)

Long story short, I was expecting the worst, but sure enough, my phone came back in one piece. WITHOUT A CRACKED SCREEN! The battery flew out, and there is a light intention on the very bottom of the case (near the ports)... but hey, I can't complain a bit! I'll have to post some pictures eventually.

I just thought I would share. Carry on!

Edit: Ah, but wait! I left out an important detail. It was in an indoor Natatorium, which had concrete all around it. (The bleachers are sealed in, so there is only one access point, which was locked.)

pix or it didnt happen lol
wots a bleacher?

a bleacher is basically a bunch of benches on an incline. That's the best I can describe a bleacher lol.

Here's an example of a small bleacher that can be moved around

Why does everyone need pictures for this type of thing? 12 feet drops do not create enough energy, especially if the phone was dropped on grass- the impulse (change in momentum) could be minimized, allowing the phone to be just fine.

It wasn't on grass, but you reminded me that I hadn't mentioned that.

Thanks for the bleacher pic Marc, it makes this story all the better lol.

I literally shuttered when I read it fell through the crack. It gives me that sinking feeling! Awesome to hear it still works great though!
