Before rooting I used the EQualizer app which was cool and boosted the bass on my hardcore/gabber music nicely. Since rooting I have downloaded DSP manager and aside from being able to set different settings for headphones/speaker etc can anyone vouch for which one is actually better or what the root only DSP app offers an addition to the non-rooted EQualizer app?
Also, with the sound effects set in either of these apps, does choosing 'rock' for example in the stock music app build on these effects or replace them?
