Help DTMF, Dammit

Anyone got any tips on how to conveniently (non-root) change the phone keypad tones from waterdrops to standard DTMF? It appears DTMF is working behind the scene, as automated answering machines respond, but I like tones. They are reassuring :)

settings (lower left 'hardware' button')
