Root Dual booting htc desire Cdma?

Hi guys!
Just wondering 2 questions....
Can i dual boot my htc uscellular cdma desire?
And how can i get ubuntu to BOOT up on my phone? ( someone told me i could, but i didnt believe it )

It says something about cant find loop?
I cd to folder of the SH
and did sh ubuntu.sh
and got...

Have you got a kernel with.loop device support? Ask your dev. Would expect Droidzone kernels on xda if any cdma version, would be best

It does, but is there a cdma version? Perhaps cm7 would be better.
