As long as you keep things backed up, why is this a problem?
yes, it will take time to get things back to normal BUT it doesn't hurt to do it.

For the most part, it was backed up. I lost some stuff I did in Tasker last night, and had to manually re-add my widgets to Launcher Pro. Still... was an hours work for an oopsie.

I figured since you posted this you weren't rooted or backed up. An hour or so isn't bad. It's like loading a new ROM.

Except I'm not rooted. When I say "backup", I just mean a few of my programs have a way to backup the settings. I occasionally save data on internal storage.
I am guessing I need to search up how to backup better. At some point I'll root, and I reckon I'll need to know how.

Its an hours work the first time. I have done many factory resets due to changing roms constantly. It only takes like 15 minutes to a half an hour once you have done it a bunch of times.
