Help Duplicate Emails with HTC Mail

I'm using HTC Mail synced with my Gmail account. When I compose an email or reply to an email, I seem to send duplicate messages. I deleted and added the account a couple of times, but the problem still persists. The same when I reply directly through my Gmail app. Does anyone know how to correct this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Don't sync with HTC Mail. Just use Gmail. It's already on your phone. Delete your gmail account from HTC mail.
